Reactive power compensation from 1 kV to 24 kV
Medium-voltage capacitor banks are manufactured from individual capacitors using all-film technology. For voltage ranges up to 24 kV, the capacitor banks can be fitted with a cover to ensure protection against accidental contact with live parts. Systems are available for indoor and outdoor installation.
For small compensation powers (up to 1500 kvar), the batteries are preferably constructed from three-phase capacitors; for larger powers, the batteries are constructed from single-phase capacitors.
