COMSYS ADF – active filter
flexible, innovative, efficient
COMSYS ADF modular active filters
Adaptive active filters, offered by PQ ENGINEERING
PQ ENGINEERING offers the complete portfolio of active filters, small 30 A harmonic filters in wall-mounted housings as well as modular cabinet systems up to a nominal voltage of 690 V. Our specialty are voltage controlled filters of the latest design.
Protect your power supply and operational processes from critical power quality disturbances with active filters.
Protect your power supply and operational processes from critical power quality disturbances with active filters.
With active filters, a distinction is made between current-controlled and and voltage-controlled filters, which can be used to dynamically compensate several harmonics simultaneously. In addition, these active filters can also be used to dynamically compensate reactive power and reduce rapid voltage fluctuations (flicker). Flicker compensation is not a problem for the filters.
Voltage-controlled active filters are new. With these special filters, both harmonics and interharmonics of the voltage can be reduced. Due to their mode of action, they can also work impedance-controlled and are thus able to damp resonances.
We offer active filters in all power ranges from well-known manufacturers.
In addition to the current-controlled active filters mostly available on the market, active filters with voltage control are our specialty.
Why measure current harmonics when voltage distortion should be compensated?

Comsys active filter ADF P25
Compact filter for wall mounting (3-wire)
The ADF P25 active filter gives you everything in a compact format. Although the ADF P25 is compact and cost-effective, it offers the same excellent performance as the larger ADF P300 or ADF P100 filters. It is extremely efficient and easy to use.
The ADF P25 has a compensation current of 30 A RMS (208…480 V). The compact design allows the ADF P25 to be used in applications where space is limited.
Comsys active filter ADF P100 /ADF P100N
Filter for wall mounting (3-wire P100 / 4-wire P100N)
The modular concept also continues with the filters for wall mounting. The compact filter provides full redundancy in multimaster operation. The ADF P100 and ADF P100N are available with touch display.
The compact ADF P100N shows its strength especially in the compensation of unbalanced or single-phase loads. The neutral conductor is relieved by the 4-wire connection.
Small compensation services can be installed decentrally and close to the consumer.
Version in compact housing for wall mounting and for cabinet installation with a compensation current of 50…150 A (up to 480 V) and 90 A (up to 690 V).
Comsys active filters ADF P200
Active voltage-controlled broadband filter
The unique Comsys filter with true voltage control. Response times in the microsecond range allow optimal compensation results even with highly dynamic disturbance variables. By means of a power electronic simulation of ohmic-inductive or ohmic-capacitive loads, the filter is able to selectively change the grid impedance. This provides an elegant way of damping grid resonances.
With our special version PQE hMF-ABM+UBM the reduction of disturbances up to 15 kHz is possible. Ideal for clock frequency disturbances and high frequency resonance points.
Comsys active filters ADF P300
Current/voltage controlled active filter
The ADF P300 active filters are powerful modular system solutions for dynamic optimization of power quality with response times well below 1 ms.
The modular filters can be easily expanded at a later date. Due to the high protection class also suitable for harsh industrial environments.
