Neutralize fast transients and RF interference with Sinetamer transient filter
IGBTs used in modern frequency converters switch very high power levels very quickly. This results in grid disturbances such as harmonics and high-amplitude interference spectra up to the multi-kHz range. These voltage levels have a strong disruptive effect on electronic circuits, even leading to their destruction. Whistling and whistling noises are often clear warning signals.
Sinetamer transient filters can help here. Connected as line-parallel filters, they neutralize switching transients, smooth commutations, and eliminate clock frequencies.

Sinetamers can be used as a filter measure both in the grid and in the plant:
- As a measure against the polluter,
- To clean up the entire network,
- For interference suppression in a network area.
For the investigation of transient disturbances, PQ ENGINEERING not only has the appropriate high-resolution measurement technology at its disposal. If necessary, a test filter can also be used to determine the required system dimensioning during the investigation, as well as to demonstrate and document its effectiveness before the recommended measure is implemented.
