PQE aHF-W/400 for wall mounting

Compact SiC active filter for commercial use

PQE aHF-W/400

The PQE aHF-W active filters with SiC technology are the most innovative products in the field of power quality. The use of silicon carbide as a power semiconductor leads to higher efficiencies, lower losses, and more compact designs. The PQE aHF-W can filter harmonics up to the 50th harmonic, compensate for inductive and capacitive reactive power, and balance phase imbalances.

Fast response times of 50µs, extremely low losses of approximately 1 % of the rated power and high clock frequencies of 40..95 kHz make the PQE aHF-W ideal for use in modern installations.

How the PQE aHF-W/400 active filter works

The PQE aHF-W/400 is a high-performance SiC active filter that detects and compensates for grid disturbances in real time. It combines current- and voltage-controlled harmonic filtering to sustainably improve power quality.

With an extremely short response time of just 50µs, the filter effectively eliminates harmonics, reactive power, and asymmetries caused by nonlinear loads. At the same time, it intelligently adapts to changing grid conditions with Smart-FFT autotuning.

Thanks to its compact design, the PQE aHF-W/400 is ideal for installations with limited space, while the robust IP20 protection class ensures safe use in industrial environments.
