Resonance in the medium-voltage grid

The Task

In a 30 kV power grid of  a chemical park parts of the grid could not be operated coupled due to resonance phenomena.

The Solution

After extensive investigations Condensator–Dominit designed and delivered a turnkey solution with a 30kV filter system and a damped highpass stage. The entire system is integrated in a station building.

The measurements of PQ ENGINEERING after commissioning confirmed the simulated results.
