With the FKA-APP PQ ENGINEERING has developed a software for fully automatic control and monitoring of filter circuit installations (FKA). The freely programmable power analyzers UMG604, UMG508 and UMG509 from Janitza are used as a platform. These devices combine the complete power quality measurement functions with a PLC functionality. A web interface with logbook and display of the operating states enables control of the mains filters on site or via the network. Complete monitoring of filter operating data includes e.g. temperature, filter current, harmonic load, resonance detection and many more.
